My favorite Christmas Present...

was from my Grandparents, it was a betty crocker cookbook and I absolutely love it. Tonight for dinner I made Chicken, broccoli and rice with cheddar cheese on top and it was yummy!!! Thank you grandma and grandpa for the cookbook I will use it manny more times!!! I was looking through it the other day and found many more receipes.

It's been awhile...

I know that I haven't posted anything in a few days but we have been really busy. We visited Dan's brother and his wife on Wednesday. We went to downtown Kalamazoo and looked at the Christmas lights. It was alot of fun. We really haven't done anything else fun just working alot and getting ready for Christmas. Can't wait to see everyone.

It's baking day again.

This morning I woke up in a baking mood again. So today I found the "Neiman Marcus" cookie recipe. First of all I found out that it is just an urban legend. Second if you ever decide to make this cookie cut the recipe in half or you will be baking all day. I even had to have Dan help so I could get ready for work. It makes about 10 dozen cookies. Hope the guys at work enjoy them because they are going to be eating them for a long time. Dan and I both ate one and enjoyed it but then looked at the full counter and almost fell over from the shock. I wonder if any of our neighbor's would like some....

PS I made cupcakes last night on top of all of this...

The next thing that I want to make is Banana Bread with NO nuts. But I don't have a bread pan :( maybe Santa will bring me one.

My grandpa sent me this link check it out. It is really easy you pick a card and then you pick what the card will say, you can even write your own note. Then it will get send to a troop. I think they will love it, who doesn't like to get mail???

It snowed today so I am ready for spring. I really hate the winter season. It is tooooo cold. Last night while Dan was at work I went Christmas shopping for him and I got him the coolest thing. I showed it to his friend who lives upstairs and he said that he was jealous. I can't wait for him to see it.

Laundry Day.

So Thursdays are usually my day off of work when I go and do the laundry, but my lovely husband decided that he wanted to take the car and go Christmas shopping with his mom for the whole morning, which left me at home baking all day. Then this morning as I was getting ready to take him to work we ran to the laundry mat put all the clothes in the washer and then I went and dropped him off at work. As I was heading back to the laundry mat my mother in law called and asked if I could give her a ride because her transmission went out on her car. No problem so I picked her up ran to the laundry mat to switch the clothes went and ran her errand and then went back to the mat to get my clothes. She went in and helped me fold my clothes which at first I thought it was strange but after the 18 billion load I realized that it was nice getting to talk to her. Then we went back to my apartment and made lunch together so all in all it was a fun day that I spent with her.

Hey everyone, Today I was in the baking mood all day, I made chocolate fudge and m&m cookies. All are very yummy. In January when I complain that I am fat it will be because of these baking days that I am having lately. We have some guys that we work with that live upstairs from us that LOVE it when I bake so they encourage me to continue to bake often.

I decided to make this page because I email pictures to everyone and then I can't remember what pictures I emailed to whom so this is really just to make things easier on me. Alot of people that have seen these pictures and say that I look sick in them. We took these pictures early in the morning right after I woke up so I am still sleepy in them. I feel great!

Married life is fun but I didn't realize that it was as hard as it is. The whole living together and compromise thing is tricky. I think had I had a brother it wouldn't be so hard. He is defiantly not like Jennifer. But I love him and can't imagine not being with him.

Our kitten Storm is extremely spoiled. She gets everything that I find for cats. Dan doesn't mind he loves her too. We had a dog a black lab and german shepherd mix but we live in a 2 bedroom apartment so they didn't blend well. She is living with a friend of ours that has 6 acres and she is loving it.

Like I said we live in a 2 bedroom apartment for now. If we decide to stay in Michigan we will be renting a house in March but we are also thinking of moving away we are not really sure what we want to do yet. As soon as I clean the apartment enough for pictures I will post some. But with the both of us working full time there is always something that needs to be clean. It is usually the dishes because we don't get home from work until 11:00 p.m. which then means dinner is close to midnight then I am too tired to do the dishes so I save them for the morning.
